Naboomspruit residents celebrate with Obaro

The residents of Naboomspruit celebrated the rain as well as the new Obaro retail store on 7 October 2017. The opening of the new retail store turned into a fully-fledged celebration with discounted prices, performances by guest artists, food stalls and various prizes that were won during the day.

“After months of planning and hard work, the Obaro Naboomspruit retail store is finally ready to serve customers with Obaro’s top products and services,” said Nic Bronkhorst, Managing Director of the Obaro Group. “We are excited to celebrate this opportunity with our clients.”

The renovation at Obaro Naboomspruit started in January this year and the trade store is now boasting new and extensive product ranges, such as Afrox Gas. Customers can now also get quality clothes and accessories at Obaro Naboomspruit with the new Jonsson Workwear Zone, which was opened this weekend.

In the spirit of the opening, Obaro Naboomspruit launched various promotions and competitions. Thys Pelser was the lucky winners of a Terrace Leisure Saturn 610 gas grill during the lucky draw. A major attraction to the opening was the Afrikaans singers who performed throughout the day. Ruan Josh, Franja du Plessis, The Ventertjies and Devon Jay Scott gave a great thrill and made sure the opening was a highlight for the whole family. Obaro’s top suppliers were also involved in the day and exhibited their products and services to the customers. Hans Strijdom High School, the Gymnastics Club and the Old Age Home all made sure that the guests did not go hungry with delicious food stalls serving everything from rib burgers to pancakes.

According to Bertie van der Merwe, Business Manager of Obaro Naboomspruit, the new retail store is the combination of staff commitment and hard work, suppliers’ quality products and reliability as well as clients’ longstanding loyalty and support.
